Sandor Szikszai is a Hungarian/Australian watercolour
artist, curator, who after a period of fifteen years when he was engaged in
various senor financial management and consulting positions at various
multinational companies, retired himself to dedicate his life to attain his
youthful dreams of artistic self expression. And ever since he became path
finder, who rushes around the World looking for the vital life of inspirations.
Sandor mainly shares his life between two continents Europe and Australia while
yielding plentiful life experience that can be transformed into work of art. Meanwhile
he lived in Austria for one and the half year and become commissioned fee
artist at Danube Chanel Art Community in Vienna. After his return to Hungary,
he engaged in the promotion of watercolour art and established IWS Hungarian
Branch than became a Board member of IWS Global. He is also heading Fabriano Aquarello Eastern
European and Hungarian art community groups, and a local Artistic Community
"Budapest-Pestszentlorinc Free Artist Society". Within these
capacities he organised great number of solo and group exhibitions, joint
events, workshops and presentations. He was the organiser-curator of the First
Budapest International Watercolour Festival in September 2016.
In his art he is strong symbolists, his topics mostly
selected by the call of internal spirit. All these expressions manifested at
four collection of solo exhibitions in the last couple of years at Budapest.
2013 - Journey of a Soul, 2014 - Passage into on other Life, 2015 - Twelve
Pearl Gates and 2016 - Parallel Universes. He is also invited guest exhibitor
on various local and international group exhibitions 2-3 times a year.
