LANA MATICH PRIVITERA

Originally from Spain, Mrs. Privitera graduated in 1983 from the Fine Arts School of Zaragoza, Spain. After working in Advertising for a few years, she moved to the USA in the early 1990s.

Mrs. Privitera is internationally known for her high-contrast and full of intricate detail watercolors. In recent years, her Hyperrealistic Still Lifes and Urban Landscapes have been the recipients of more than 40 awards in the USA at Regional and National level.

Lana Privitera has been an Art Instructor for over 15 years and currently teaches watercolor workshops at the Wallkill River School of Art, near NYC, as well from other locations in the USA.

A series of  her “Watercolor Lessons for the Detail-Oriented Artist” will be available online early in 2018 in both English and Spanish..
